Why winning an argument is futile?

"The eternal truth is that if you lose it; you lose it, if you win it you lose it." People indulge in arguments so that they may satisfy their ego, others unknowingly go for it without considering the consequences. 

Some are smart and furtive with arguments. If you indulge often, you may eventually incur resentment and won't win their will too. Be very selective in nature with whom you converse because there is a very thin line between discussion and argument. 

"When one is speaking the other must listen otherwise there is no conversation but bad vibrations. It is of no use, rather an argument should be a discussion with humility. 

You shouldn't create a condition that ruins all your relationships. You know how that it works, it won't work unless you execute it. You'll only benefit from my post only if you implement them.
